She has completed 300 hours of training and 8 supervisions, along with many sessions of her own as a client. Certification requirements include completion of 350 client hours, 24 supervisions and 6 group supervisions.

When she discovered Rosen Method Bodywork in 2015, Glenys had spent several years exploring her inner life using talking therapies. Whilst this had been helpful she felt it had become no longer productive. During RMB sessions and courses she experienced being met at a deeper level, at the truth of the body and noticed how this deepening awareness brought many positive changes in her life.

Rosen Method Bodywork was founded by Marion Rosen (1914 – 2012) and she made it her life’s work. It is an original somatic (relating to the body as opposed to the mind) approach which addresses physical tension. Rosen sessions are for anyone interested in exploring how their body and psyche work together. The aim is to help people to experience their full physical and emotional potential through increased awareness and relaxation.

It is distinguished by its gentle, direct touch. Using hands that listen rather than manipulate, the practitioner focuses on chronic muscle tension. As relaxation occurs and the breath deepens, unconscious feelings, attitudes, and memories may emerge. As this process unfolds, habitual tension and old patterns may be released, freeing the client to experience more aliveness, new choices in life, and a greater sense of well-being.

The results of Rosen Method bodywork frequently include a lessening of pain and tension and an increase in vitality and aliveness. Many individuals experience a new sense of clarity about their life direction and goals. They are better able to make decisions that improve the quality of their life, and they can more easily align with their purpose.
